Who we are
SFR Medical provides written medical reports for UK police forces to use in the investigation and conviction of violent crimes. We have been in existence for over a year – our proprietary solution has resulted in 3,500 reports and reduced waiting times for the production of medical reports from several months to five days (and at times to less than one hour).
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone with strong organisational and customer service skills who has the desire to be a part of a social entrepreneurial venture. The CRM is an integral position to our business as you will be the day-to-day contact for our clients, who are UK police officers. A key to your success will be your ability to build relationships and trust with both our clients as well as hospital secretaries. The secretaries provide the data that we need to write the reports that the police request, so it’s essential to maintain a good rapport with them.
You must be extremely detail-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude, and willing to learn. It’s essential that everything you present is professional, grammatically correct, timely, and authentic.
Attending training (which we provide) is mandatory.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Monitor and track all report requests (via email and our proprietary software platform)
- Interface with police officers and hospital secretaries
- Assign reports to medical transcribers
- Coordinate quality checks for the Head of Operations/COO
- Collect feedback from all points of contact
- Use Hubspot to track contacts and interactions
- Assist in the creation of monthly invoices
- Attend weekly on-site company meeting in person
Other things to note:
You will be handling extremely sensitive information, so you will need to adhere to specific security and safety protocols, as well ensure that your actions are GDPR compliant.
We are looking to fill both part-time (4 – 5 hours/day) at £800/month, as well as a full-time (7.5 – 8 hours/day) at £1,500/month, positions. Each position will start as an initial 3-month contract to be expanded to longer term after the trial period is completed.
Applications will be taken on a rolling basis, and start dates are contingent on how long the interview process takes. Candidates can expect to meet with 2 – 4 current SFR Medical employees as well as partake in a writing exercise.
Both paid positions have enormous potential upside, ranging from the ability to make a real impact on the criminal justice system to getting experience in an early-stage entrepreneurial venture with founders who are passionate about what we’re doing.
Work can be performed remotely, on a computer that we will provide.

Through an innovative and secure solution, we navigate the interface between the two government entities to provide medical evidence, evidence which is needed to charge a suspect with a crime and bring them to justice.
Our trained medical transcribers translate medical notes into court-ready evidence that is provided to the police at a price that is affordable, in a time frame that is acceptable, and with the quality that is needed. In doing so, we save lives by preventing revenge crimes and criminal justice system failures. We have reduced medical evidence processing times by up to 96%, a statistic we hope to improve through the introduction of an end-to-end software solution in 2020.
