SFR Medical is an extremely useful service and has allowed faster decision from the Crown Prosecution Service when seeking charging decisions which ultimately safeguards the victim further through the investigative and court processes. I think it is a very good idea putting the medical evidence into an SFR format. It makes reading the information easy and fully understandable. Since we have had the support from SFR Medical, I have personally seen that our investigations are quickly progressing as we are no longer having to wait for weeks or even months at a time to receive the medical evidence required. This is great not only for the investigation but also for the victims as their cases are promptly being presented to the CPS for a charging decision.

I requested an urgent request for medical notes and an SFR and after the supervisor submitted the form, I called the urgent request hotline. Although there were a few bits incomplete or incorrect, SFR medical were very helpful in getting these minor complications corrected by keeping regular contact over the phone with the OIC so that the information could be obtained. The information was supplied very quickly and with extensive detail. The team even leant the time to advise me of how the new portal system works so to ensure a more streamlined submission from OIC’s in the future. Very satisfied with the service experienced.
